Warranty
All Whirlpool brand models come with the Comfort Commitment™ "Best in Class" warranty. Whirlpool Gold® 14-18 SEER models include a lifetime unit replacement. Standard models feature a minimum of 10-year coverage on the compressor, and every Whirlpool brand air conditioner is covered by a 10-year parts warranty. Performance
Whirlpool brand air conditioners use only the highest quality scroll compressors with a variety of different SEER options to meet your needs. Premium models feature the industry's best high-efficiency two-stage scroll compressors, which are up to four times quieter than standard, reciprocating compressors. In addition, the advanced Quiet Partner™ system deadens unwanted noise. Two-speed condenser motors provide quieter operation and steadier airflow for enhanced efficiency. To protect it all is a strong steel cabinet with DuraShield™ coating to resist rust and scratching.
Energy Efficiency
All air conditioners have a SEER rating (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating) that helps you compare efficiency levels. If you have an air conditioner that's more than 10 years old, it probably has a SEER rating of 10 or less. High-efficiency units require larger initial investments but pay for themselves multiple times over the course of their lifespan.
