If you have a central ducted HVAC system, your indoor air ducts have to route clean and fresh cool or warm air to each room inside your home or workplace.
But over time, aging air duct systems can begin to sag, leak, crack and generally degrade. This is especially true for the classic so-called “ductopus,” where an original air duct system has been re-routed or added onto and now looks more like an octopus tangled up in its own legs!
Not only are such duct systems less efficient, but they are much more vulnerable to seasonal toxins, dust, pet dander, pollen, dirt, unwelcome insect or animal visitors, environmental toxins, bacteria, mould, mildew, volatile organic compounds, dust mites and other debris you might prefer not to know is there.
